What to Expect

Every Wagyu animal is unique, so final packaged weight, steak size and individual cut quantities will naturally vary. Rather than promising the yield of an exceptionally large animal, the quantities below represent a conservative typical Half Share allocation. When an animal yields more, additional cuts may be included at Sunday River Ranch’s discretion.

Limited Specialty Cuts

One advantage of purchasing a Half Share is access to limited whole-animal cuts that are not typically included with Quarter Shares. Depending on the animal and how the other half is allocated, your share may include cuts such as:

  • Inside / Outside Skirt Steak
  • Tri-Tip
  • Tenderloin
  • Rump or Arm Roast

Specialty-cut availability varies. These cuts are reserved for Half/Whole Share purchases or individual retail sale and are not guaranteed as exact counts in every share.
